Kenya
In 2001 Wildwood began conducting short training courses in Kenya. For the next 6 years Wildwood and it’s graduates trained over 1000 lay members in health evangelism work–but the courses were only a few weeks long each time. Knowing this, LIGHT saw the need to offer a full six-month training in Kenya to better equip these dedicated medical missionaries. In 2008 Leon & Irene Curfs, who spent one year at Wildwood and have pastored in Kenya for over five years, agreed to lead this new initiative. In February 2009, we began the first six-month course at the South Kenya Conference headquarters with the help of two graduates from Wildwood’s College of Health Evangelism.Current News
